Finally managed to add the site to CloudFlare today! There were some issues with TOO MANY REDIRECTS early on, but that was quickly fixed!
I’m trying to optimize the loading times for some of the pages that are serving too much data. But this will take a bit of time. Currently I’ve modified the Series pages to show the Bakugan records only when you click on the name. And it’s using lazy load for the images, so it doesn’t retrieve all the images on page load. This should speed up the page load quite a bit.
I’m trying to optimize the rest of the pages for the rest of the site, but as each page is structured differently, it will take some time.
Other things in the works:
- Forums: I’ve installed a forums plugin to play around with. Still trying to ensure all things are working and structured properly before I turn on user registration
- User’s Bakugan Collection: Still experimenting on how to allow logged in users to store their own collection on site. This will take quite a while
- Update of Bakugan List: I haven’t had time to update the Bakugan List in a while. Still stuck at Mechtanium Surge. Hopefully I can get started with my BakuTech stuff, and then onto Gen 2 / 3.
