Bakugan Combiner for Gen 3

It’s been a while since we’ve had an update for Bakugan. Well today, I got the chance to see a picture of the infamous combiner from G3.

It is substantially smaller and more colorful than I expected. As I’m unable to show the picture, let me at least describe it.

There are a total of 6 Bakugan in this set, which was supposed to be released as the “Ultimate Brawlers Set”, as seen in the Amazon listing.

  1. Head / Body – Dragonoid v3 (Red)
  2. Torso – Trox v3 (Translucent Green)
  3. Left Arm – Bruiser v3 (White)
  4. Right Arm – Ventri v3 (Orange)
  5. Left Shoulder – Hammerhead v2 (Translucent Blue)
  6. Right Shoulder – Barb v1 (Translucent Yellow)

The legs that join to the torso seem to be an external piece (Blue in color for the legs), but still not known where or what it represents

Instagram user (hapdrago4004) previously posted some pictures of the checklist which had a picture of the combiner.

The only thing I would like to add is the actual toy looks very similar to the creepy looking image, except that it’s more colorful than i thought it would be.

It’s a very strange looking Combiner because there are so many types of Bakugan joined together.

First up are the two shape fury special attack Bakugan, Dragonoid and Trox. These form the main head / body / torso of the combiner. Keep in mind these are G3 Bakugan, meaning that you can further split them into 2 parts. On top of the head is the Dragonoid power ring, which acts like some sort of crown?

For the shoulder parts, we didn’t know it at the time, but I actually have Hammerhead, which is this blue Bakugan. The hook at the end of the tail portion locks onto Bruiser, which is an odd way of joining the 2 Bakugan.

The one that I’m actually very interested in, is its yellow counterpart, Barb, on the other side. The picture I saw was low resolution, so couldn’t make out much details. But at least it looks like a normal ball shaped Bakugan.

For Bruiser and Ventri (the arms), they appear to be odd-shaped Bakugan. After combining, they seem flat and don’t look like Bakugan at all. For the legs, I have no idea what these are. Probably a support piece from the set.

Well my order on Amazon (Germany) is still open, they have not closed the order yet, which is very weird considering the entire line of Season 2 should be cancelled by now. Anyway, the date range for delivery for all the different G3S2 products is from Jan 27 to Feb 20, 2025. I’m still waiting to see if it actually ships, though I would put it at a very low probability.

Cheers, and see you in the next article!
